At the Four-States Marching Contest the MPISD Marching Band and
Color Guard received the "Sweepstakes" award for their  performance of
You Can't Hyde. The contest featured 22 high school marching bands
from Arkansa, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas

At the Prariland Marching Contest the MPISD Drum Majors
were named "Best Drum Majors"
At the Prariland Marching Contest the MPISD Drum Majors were named "Best Drum Majors"

Production value in a marching band and color guard performance is the

aggregate value of music, sound, color, props and costumes all working

together to create an overall value in the show. Successful production value

is a compilation of all elements to provide the very essence of a show in

a way that makes visual sense and is pleasing to the audience
