At the Ouachita Valley Marching Contest the MPISD Marching Band and Color Guard
earned a 1st Division rating for their performance of PHANTOM. They earned
"Outstanding Drum Major, Percussion, Band, Color Guard" and
received the "Grand Champion Award".

"I am very proud of the hard work and dedication that our band students exhibit!"
said Dr. Theodus Luckett, Director of Instrumental Music.
